Prezie

I came across Prezi as part of the module and found it interesting to use.

The templates are easy to use but it does become difficult to amend them. The transition between slides looks great as most people are used to Powerpoint but if the transitions take place within a few seconds of one another then the zoom in, zoom out movement can be nauseating. 

After creating the initial presentation during the course I was not too impressed with the time it took to create it.  In comparison I know I could have completed it in PowerPoint and perhaps added similar spheres to show the links between the topic.

Prezi is cloud based and as much as Microsoft Office offers cloud based computing, not all learning takes place where internet access is available.

If I am not comfortable with the zoom in, zoom out aspect then it will impact my delivery and my learners. Whether I will use Prezi for my lessons is questionable.
